The Sims 4 More Columns - How to Download and Install It?

From this guide you will learn how to download and install the More Columns mod for The Sims 4.

Not all mods for The Sims 4 are huge and offer significant changes in gameplay. Some of them make smaller adjustments that are simply meant to improve the fun. One such modification is More Columns. Below you will find its brief description and instructions on how to download and install it.

More Columns for The Sims 4 - what does it add?

More Columns introduces a seemingly insignificant change - it enables you to choose how many columns with objects are displayed in CAS. This makes it easier and faster to find a particular item (especially if you have many in a single category).

The modification enables you to choose one of three settings for the number of columns - three, four or five. You must bear in mind, however, that not each of these options will display properly on specific resolutions.

To download More Columns for The Sims 4, you need to go to the author's Patreon (you can do it by clicking here). Once you enter the website, at the bottom of the page you will find a link to download the modification files.

Installing the mods is very easy. You unpack the downloaded .zip file to the Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder. Then, after launching the game, you must go into the settings under the "other" tab. There, check if you have two options checked:

  1. enable modified content;
  2. enable modifications with scripts.

If you didn't have them, then you need to activate them, and then relaunch The Sims 4. From now on, the modification should work without problems.
