Gameplay From The First Descendant - 'Next-gen Looter Shooter'

The First Descendant, described by developers from Nexon as a „next-generation looter shooter,” has lived to see its first real gameplay. In addition, we learned the date of its beta testing.

Nexon has presented gameplay from its new production. The First Descendant, a multiplayer TPP shooter described by the developers as a "next-generation looter shooter," is heading to PC, PlayStation (4 and 5) and Xboxes (One, Series X, Series S). Although so far we have not learned its release date, we know that those willing to test it will be able to do so in the summer.

The devs revealed that the game's beta will take place from August 22-28, and it will put the functionality of the cross-play mode to the test. You can sign up for them via the game's official website.

  1. The First Descendant will take us to the fictional continent of Ingris, attacked by alien invaders. During the gameplay we will take on the role of heroes who are the last hope for its inhabitants.
  2. The game will offer a variety of missions, during which we will eliminate hosts of enemies. On the battlefield we will use an extensive arsenal and various combat abilities of the characters, which are differentiated by specializations.
  3. As we progress, we will develop skills and acquire better equipment, which will increase our combat potential. There will also be opportunities to modify the appearance of the characters.
