Gunfire Games and Gearbox Publishing have released (after Idle_Sloth) details about the graphic modes featured in Remnant II. While on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X players will get three variants at their disposal, on the Xbox Series S the title in question will get only offer the one default mode.
Remnant II - graphic modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles
- Quality mode - the priority here is resolution and visual quality. Vertical Synchronization (VSync) is enabled to prevent image tearing effects.
- Balanced mode - this mode focuses on the balance between visual quality and fps. It is designed to maintain a constant 60 frames per second. Like in "Quality" mode, VSync is enabled.
- Performance mode - this mode is focused on providing the smoothest possible gameplay, with uncapped frames per second. In this mode, VSync is disabled, allowing for a higher frame rate, at the expense of the possibility of image tearing.
Remnant II - graphic mode on the Xbox Series S console
- Standard mode - this mode offers 1080p resolution and a constant 30 frames per second. As with most of the modes mentioned above, VSync is enabled to ensure image stability.
Remnant II is heading not only to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, but also to personal computers. The game will hit store shelves on July 25.
