While rumors about a remaster of Beyond Good & Evil have been circulating for a long time, Ubisoft officially confirmed the existence of a refreshed version of the game only on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the original release. The French developers then revealed that we will embark on a nostalgic journey around the planet Hillys at the beginning of 2024.

Although the devs haven't announced the exact release date of Beyond Good & Evil: 20th Anniversary Edition since then, it seems that the day is near. This can be proven by the fact that the title was assessed by the South Korean Commission for Game Evaluation and Administration. The age classification is frequently assigned shortly before the title is released on the market.

Despite the absence of the game's release date on the official website, Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming has managed to discover that the remaster is set to be released on the market on March 5th. So if the leaks turn out to be true, we should soon receive an official statement from Ubisoft.

Let us remind you that the refreshed version of Beyond Good & Evil will allow you to play in 4K resolution and 60 frames per second. The title will also receive improved graphics and enhanced controls. The target platforms for the remaster remain unknown.
