Forza Horizon 4 Reviews on Steam Improving, New Activity Record

Forza Horizon 4 rises on Steam. Different editions of the game took two places in the list of Steam's biggest bestsellers. In addition, the title set an activity record among racing games.

IN A NUTSHELL:
  1. Valheim remains for sixth consecutive week at #1 on Steam's weekly bestseller list;
  2. An excellent debut for Forza Horizon 4, which set an activity record among racing games on Steam;
  3. Loop Hero continues with great sales.

Valve published the ususal weekly list of the biggest (by revenue) Steam bestsellers. Valheimtopped the list for the sixth time, but there were some big changes in other spots.

An excellent debut in the store was recorded by Forza Horizon 4. This racing game was released on PC in October 2018 (on Microsoft Store), but it only hit Steam last Tuesday. The launch on Valve's service proved to be very successful, as the standard version of the game took the second place in the list of the biggest bestsellers of last week. However, the more expensive Ultimate edition can be found on the number five position.

As we expected, yesterday Forza Horizon 4 set a new activity record on Steam in the racing game category. At the hottest moment of the day, the game was played by 25,911 people at the same time. This beat the result of the previous leader, F1 2020, which, immediately after release, reached 24,010.

Interestingly, over the weekend the game's reception on Steam warmed up considerably. On Friday, only 69% of Forza Horizon 4 user reviews were positive, while now it is 75%.

Loop Hero, an indie RPG whose sales have already exceeded half a million copies, dropped from second to third place. Note that the list is determined by revenue, and this game costs less than $20, while the standard edition of Forza Horizon 4 is priced at roughly $60.

It is also worth noting the successful debut of Stronghold: Warlords, which took the number nine spot. This was not hindered by the fact that only 62% of user reviews are positive.
