Facet of Command in Destiny 2 - How to Get Divided Prismatic Key

Destiny 2 The Final Shape introduces the Prismatic subclass, a fusion of Light and Darkness. To unlock its full potential, you'll need to collect Prismatic Fragments hidden throughout the Pale Heart. This guide will help you solve the puzzle with Scorch Cannon in the Divide area and obtain the Divided Prismatic Key to open the chest containing the Facet of Command.

Destiny 2 – How to open the Prismatic Chest in Divide

Facet of Command Prismatic Fragment is located in a chest in icy caverns of Divide area in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. Here’s how to get the Divided Prismatic Key to open it:

  1. On the other side of the room with prismatic chest there’ll be a secret area behind a shattered window. Jump into it and interact with Transmat Scorch Cannon machine.
  2. Pick up the weapon and destroy all large piles of ice. This will get you 2 Arc Charges.

  1. Exit the secret area and destroy another big pile of ice in the middle of the room to find Void Charge.
  2. Turn right and go forward. Demolish pile of ice under a wrecked starship to get 3rd Arc Charge.

  1. Take another right turn and, upon entering a big room, turn left. Go into a small room on the left and destroy another pile of ice to get Solar Charge.
  2. Exit the small room and head towards the red light. Enter a long icy corridor, jump through the gap and go forward. There should be another snowy pile on your right with 4th Arc Charge.
  3. Bring all charges to the room with the Scorch Cannon machine. You should now have 6 charges. Place them on the floor.

  1. Exit the room and turn left. Go forward and pass the prismatic chest. Follow the corridor and destroy another icy pile on the left with a hidden 2nd Solar Charge.
  2. Go back through the corridor and, in the open area, jump on the platforms on the left. Walk forward and look to your right. You should see an icy pile on a small platform by the wall. Destroy it to reveal 2nd Void Charge.

  1. Take all those charges back to the room with the Cannon machine. With all 8 charges, you can now deposit them into two machines. Each machine requires 10 charges of energy. Note that different types of charges give different amounts of energy: Arc gives 2 charges of energy, Solar 3, and Void 4.
  2. Put one Arc Charge and two Void Charges in one machine, and rest of the charges into the other. Exit the room and defeat all enemies. The main boss, Subjugator of Control, will drop Divided Prismatic Key.
