ETS 2 Devs Boast Refreshed Switzerland Again in New Trailer

The modernization of Switzerland in Euro Truck Simulator 2 is in full swing, as SCS Software studio reminded with a new trailer for the upcoming update.

The SCS Software studio recently praised the refreshed German roads, and the developers of Euro Truck Simulator 2 have once again reminded players about the ongoing reconstruction of Switzerland. The developers have released a trailer for the upcoming update, thanks to which the currently outdated virtual routes in the country will look as good as the latest locations.

The video is paired with another entry on the official SCS Software page. This time, the independent studio didn't concentrate on talking about changes, as we already got to know about the new features in the Swiss Alps from the developer's diary in December. Instead, this short article introduces the team members tasked with modernizing the landscape of Digital Switzerland.

By the way, it has been confirmed once again that the Switzerland Rework will appear in the game with the release of the 1.50 update. For now, SCS Software studio hasn't provided any date, but we may have to wait a bit longer for the patch. More than 2 months have passed since the release of version 1.49, and usually subsequent updates to Euro Truck Simulator 2 appear approximately every 4 months (slightly earlier in the beta version).

It's also worth mentioning the update of the fan map showing the locations present in ETS 2, which is being worked on by Internet user commandoby. The player supplemented it with two DLCs confirmed by the devs: Greek and Scandinavian (via Reddit).
