The Summer Game Fest 2024 opening ceremony stream unveiled fresh content from the game Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO and announced its release date. During an event organized by Geoff Keighley, Bandai Namco showcased another video from a fighting game that will in fact bring the cult Budokai Tenkaichi series back to life.

Below, you can watch the content featuring warriors famous from the Dragon Ball manga and anime.

After the very well received FighterZ, fans have high hopes for Sparking! ZERO. Not all fans of Son Goku and his friends appreciated the idea of a traditional two-dimensional fighting game, even though the title of the ArcSystem Work studio is undoubtedly one of the best games based on Dragon Ball.

Sparking ZERO! is to be just for them. Apart from a vast array of characters - including those less remembered by devoted Dragon Ball fans - all the classic elements that endeared fans to the Budokai Tenkaichi series will make a comeback: battles in expansive arenas, transformations during confrontations, and techniques familiar from the manga and anime.

Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO is set to launch on October 11 on PC, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles.
