Dark and Darker Was Released on Steam. Hit Dungeon Crawler Is Available for Free
The popular online dungeon crawler Dark and Darker is finally back on Steam, and right away for free.
Summer Game Fest 2024 isn't just about upcoming games. At the show, there was also, among others, Dark and Darker, an online action game PvPvE, which transfers solutions from extraction shooter-type games to a dungeon crawler in a fantasy setting.
The devs have not only shared a new trailer but have also launched the game in a free-to-play model on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The debut is currently going very well - as of writing this news, more than six thousand players are already enjoying Dark and Darker on Steam simultaneously.
Let's remember that the game is currently in early access and can only be played on PC.
It's worth adding that the new season of Dark and Darker is scheduled to start soon. When it launches, players with the free version of the game will have the option to pay for an upgrade to the Legendary (Premium) version. It's important because the free-to-play version has major restrictions - you can only create one character and play solely on the normal difficulty level.
