Bodycam is an upcoming realistic shooter, which attracted many players with its graphics. The game will be released in a few days on PC (1 AM CEST, June 8 / 7 PM EDT, June 7) in early access. Of course, many people are wondering about console versions of the title. Let’s talk about it.

Bodycam – Console (PS5, Xbox) Release Explained

Fans of shooters have a reason to be happy recently, as a few interesting games were released over the past few months. We can name Gray Zone Warfare, XDefiant or Selaco. Now, to this group we will be able to add Bodycam. However, people playing on consoles don’t have as many options as those on PC. From the list presented above, only Xdefiant is available right now on their devices.

So, what about Bodycam? Will it be released on PS5 and Xbox? Developers answered this question on their official website. In their FAQ (scroll down the page to see it) we can read that:

Question: Will Bodycam only be released on PC?

Answer: For now we are aiming for a PC-only release with keyboard & mouse support.

As you can see, for now console version is unlikely, but developers did not say no definitely. We can assume that once the game will be ready, and released in version 1.0, people from Reissad Studio will consider ports based on the sales on PC and demand from fans. However, if they decide to do it, you will have to be prepared for a long time of waiting.
