11 Bit Studios Signs a Deal With Epic Games and Announces 10 Unreal Engine Games

The creators of This War of Mine and Frostpunk from 11 bit studios established a cooperation with Epic Games. The developers have presented a sneak peek of one of them, codenamed Project 8.

Today, 11 bit studios boasted of its latest success. The devs of This War of Mine and Frostpunk have signed a contract with Epic Games. The agreement includes the development of ten titles powered by Unreal Engine 4 and Unreal Engine 5. Some of them are to be developed directly by 11 bit studios and others by third-party developers. For the announcement of some of them we have to wait until 2022.

Epic Games was said to be delighted with 11 bit studios' difficult game choices. No wonder, as the developers know their stuff like no one else. You can find out more about it in the article below.

On this occasion, the studio's social media channels posted a "sneak peek" of one of the upcoming titles. We heard about it already some time ago - its codename is Project 8. The short video doesn't reveal too much, but I must admit that it looks really good.

The devs did not specify which version of Unreal Engine they use to develop Project 8. The CEO of 11 bit studios, Przemyslaw Marszal, commented on the deal in the following words:

"Imagination knows no boundaries, and thanks to the Unreal Engine our possibilities are also unlimited. The new technology of the fifth-generation engine also impresses us, and we're excited to use its full potential in our games. What we're doing is truly unreal!"

Well, let's hope that the quality of the games offered by the developers will not decrease as their number grows. It remains to wait for more information, wondering where 11 bit studios will take us this time.
