Transformers: Galactic Trials

Transformers: Galactic Trials is a production on the borderline of action and racing games. The title was developed by 3DClouds studio, whose portfolio includes genre-related items Fast & Furious: Spy Racers - Birth of a Shifter or PSI Patrol: Grand Prix.

The described item is based on the license of the cult Transformers brand, launched by Hasbro in 1984, which has been used in films and animated series, books and comic books, as well as numerous video games.

The plot of

Transformers: Galactic Trials takes us to a science fiction universe torn by a war between the Autobots and Decepticons, the two factions of the title Transformers - powerful, shape-shifting machines from the planet Cybertron. When the sinister Nemesis Prime steals the powerful artifacts known as Prime Relics, both groups throw themselves into pursuit of them to ensure victory in the conflict with their help. During the gameplay, we take sides and help one side to achieve victory.

Gameplay

Transformers: Galactic Trials puts at our disposal a number of Transformers transforming into various vehicles. Among the Autobots available in the game we can find Bumblebee, Elite-1 or Optimus Prime, while Decepticons are represented by Megatron.

The gameplay is a mix of spectacular action and on-track competition. During the game we watch the action from a third-person perspective (TPP) and in the form of vehicles we take part in spectacular races, trying to cross the finish line in the first place, in turn, after transforming into a walking robot we jump on platforms and fight fierce battles with enemies.

Along the way we collect relics, which are used both to unlock new Transformers and to improve the ones we already own, as well as to gain access to original skins.

Game modes

Transformers: Galactic Trials can be played solo or in local multiplayer mode. In addition to the titular Galactic Trials, where we go through the stages alone and collect artifacts, there is an Arcade module, which allows us to play on a split screen in the company of another person.
