Super Fantasy Kingdom PC

Super Fantasy Kingdom is a city builder strategy game with tower defense and roguelike elements. This is the debut project of the one-person studio Feryaz Beer.

Plot

In Super Fantasy Kingdom we find ourselves in a fantasy world inspired by the Middle Ages. We take on the role of a ruler who has returned from hunting and noticed that his kingdom has fallen into ruin.

Our task is to build a castle, as well as to explore the land surrounding it. The tasks are not made easier by the constant attacks of hordes of monsters storming the city gates. After the first defeat, it turns out that as a ruler we are trapped in a kind of loop. We must our mission anew and stronger. At the same time we are trying to uncover the mystery that causes this never-ending cycle.

Gameplay

The gameplay of Super Fantasy Kingdom is presented from the bird's eye view. We start with a clear goal, which is the reconstruction of the entire kingdom. We obtain raw materials that allow us to expand the castle with new buildings, including an inn, thanks to which the castle's defenders gain additional bonuses. Space for buildings is limited, therefore decisions regarding the city's development should be made in advance.

Defending the castle is an important part of the game. Opponents attack in waves, and from time to time a boss stands at their forefront. We can survive by picking the perfect combinations of available units. In the entire game, there are over 100 of them to choose from, including: crossbowmen, knights, vampires, magical genies, and even dinosaurs.

At the forefront of the defense stands the powerful hero or heroine chosen by us. Each character has its own strengths and weaknesses, which provide unique strategic solutions. For example, the ice priestess immobilizes monsters by freezing them.

Apart from rebuilding the kingdom and continuous defense, we have the opportunity to explore the entire land. This allows for the discovery of new heroes, resources, and challenges. It is crucial to find a balance between castle and other duties. The longer we survive, the more we will discover. This is important because our findings are saved for future playthroughs and they unlock completely new strategies & heroes.
