Spirit of Wandering: The Legend PC

Spirit of Wandering is a project of Russian Artogon Games studio, which since 2005 specializes in the production of games addressed to casual players. This time the developers decided to prepare the title with romantic audiences in mind.

The story of Spirit of Wandering depicts the adventures of the captain of a pirate ship The Spirit of Wandering. During one of the sea expeditions, the sailing ship is attacked by the infamous Flying Dutchman. With the exception of the main character, the entire crew is captured in the hereafter. A brave pirate must restore sailors, including her beloved Captain Jack, to the land of the living. The task is not easy, however, as the ghosts of the pirates have dispersed into different corners, and in order to save them, it is necessary to collect an appropriate collection of items.

The basic assumptions of Spirit of Wandering do not differ from the genre convention. Players have 24 levels to overcome, and their main task is to find objects hidden in the pictures. However, the creators decided to complicate the game a bit. The items searched for are not listed by name, but are described (e.g. the term "king's cap" means crown). As if that wasn't enough, they often have a changed size or colour scheme. However, with the help comes an interestingly designed help system, in which the heroine uses a magical ball and compass.

After rescuing a crew member, a simple arcade mini-game, consisting of collecting gold and treasures, is activated. The funds gained in this way allow you to buy more hints while searching for items.

The Spirit of Wandering audio-visual luminaire stands out positively from other competing products. Graphics is maintained in vivid colors and abounds in marine accents. The whole is complemented by a pleasant, non-imposing soundtrack.
