PVKK: Planetenverteidigungskanonenkommandant is a simulator with FPP view, which allows you to feel yourself in the role of a commander and at the same time a planetary defense cannon operator. The German studio Bippinbits, authors of the game Dome Keeper, is responsible for the title.

Story

The action of the game takes us to the defensive bunker of the autocratic regime during the ongoing alien invasion of Earth. Our goal is to successively destroy enemy targets in accordance with the orders we receive. We have to do the work precisely and efficiently, as the regime is not willing to provide us with additional supplies of resources.

However, with each passing day, incoming information, via teleradio, begins to change our perspective on what we are doing and for whom we are working.

Gameplay

A key element of the gameplay is operating the cannon and firing missiles. To do so, we use a retro-style cockpit full of various buttons, levers and switches.

Due to the prevailing regime, resources are limited. For this reason, it is necessary to scan the sky for enemies before firing. Then our task is to calculate the trajectory of the projectile and, by managing the energy generators, fire a precise and deadly shot.

Between missions, we have the opportunity to upgrade and repair the bunker and cockpit to best prepare for the next attack.

As part of the storyline, over time we discover that not everything is as we think it is. This leads us to solve puzzles, get clues and explore the entire bunker.
