Possessor(s) PC

Possessor(s) is a metroidvania title, implemented in the form of an action platform game with adventure elements. The game was developed by Heart Machine studio, which gained worldwide recognition with the game Hyper Light Drifter. Its portfolio also includes such projects as Solar Ash and Hyper Light Breaker.

Plot

Possessor(s) takes us to a gigantic, flooded megacity that fell victim to an interdimensional catastrophe and was closed in a quarantine cutting it off from the rest of the world. The main characters of the game are Luca and Rehm, who traverse the metropolis, trying to survive and determine what led to the cataclysm. Along the way, the protagonists meet other characters who have their own, often shocking stories to tell.

Gameplay

In Possessor(s) we watch the action from the side. The adventure leads us through various locations, which are interconnected, creating a kind of extensive labyrinth. Among them we will find collapsed skyscrapers or a ruined aquarium. While exploring them, we jump on platforms, avoid traps and terrain obstacles, solve ingenious puzzles, and face opponents.

During dynamic battles, we must be constantly on the move, launch accurate attacks on the ground and in the air, and perform quick dodges, as well as perform impressive combos. As we progress, we gather increasingly powerful weapons and various upgrades, which not only increase our combat potential, but also allow us to access previously inaccessible places.

Graphics

The graphic design of Possessor(s) is maintained in a cartoon style. The visuals of the game combine hand-drawn and animated characters with three-dimensional scenery.
