Fox Jones: The Treasures Of El Dorado PC

It is no accident that the title Fox Jones evokes associations with another well-known treasure hunter. The difference is that we are not dealing here with a man, but with a young fox, who, like Indians, deals with archaeology and the search for long forgotten treasures. This time he sets off to the legendary El Dorado, where, in addition to treasure hunting, he fights the demon Necroche and the hordes of his servants.

The game itself is a quite simple arcade game created mainly with younger players in mind. The action is observed from a bird's eye view (from a small angle). A similar view was used, for example, in "Golden Sun" published on GBA. The controlled fox explores further boards, collects diamonds and other valuable items, defeats enemies (by placing one of the five available bombs), and from time to time performs simple puzzles. The authors of the game have prepared a total of six extended levels.

The graphics in Fox Jones are not very detailed. In particular, this can be seen in the example of boards whose edges are clearly different in quality from the background and bitmap opponents. The game of lights is worth mentioning. It makes the title appear to be sparkling with a variety of colors, which should appeal to younger players. The soundtrack consists mainly of uncomplicated, lively melodies (in total there are eight of them).
