Here are some new screenshots from the Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines – RTX Remaster

Modder ‘Safemilk’ has released some new screenshots for his upcoming RTX Remix Mod for Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. These new screenshots showcase some high-polygon models that the modder plans to add to the game. So, let’s take a closer look at them.

Safemilk claimed that for his RTX Remix Mod, he aims to replace a lot of the game’s low-quality objects with custom high-quality versions of them. The modder aims to touch almost everything, from props to characters, weapons, and even some textures.

To showcase the new high-polygon 3D models, Safemilk shared the following comparison screenshots. And, as you will see, the new 3D models look absolutely stunning.

Now the good news here is that once this RTX Remix Mod comes out, it will most likely be one of the best examples of what RTX Remix can do. The bad news is that it will take A LONG time until it gets finished.

In my opinion, the modder should primarily focus on the Path Tracing effects. As we’ve seen with other RTX Remix Mods, the Path Tracing can be a bit messy in older titles. Thus, it would have been great if Safemilk focused on nailing its quality. For the initial release, he could have also used AI tools to upscale all of the game’s textures and add some PBR materials. That way, the Path Tracing lighting would look great, even when using low-polygon models. And then, once that version was out, he could shift focus to the game’s 3D models.

Anyway, in case you’re wondering, there is no ETA on when this mod will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted about its progress.

These past few months we’ve shared a lot of RTX Remix Mods for various games. In January 2023, we shared several RTX Remix Mods that are in the works. As such, you can take a look at screenshots and videos for Tomb Raider 2,  Grand Theft Auto: Vice CityManhunt, and Garfield Kart RTX Remix. Then, in February 2024, we shared videos for Need for Speed: Most WantedUnrealTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4 and Midnight Club 2. In March 2024, we also shared the first screenshots from the RTX Remix Mod for Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines. Finally, you can check out some early RTX Remix videos for Fallout: New VegasHalf-Life and Splinter Cell.

Speaking of Path Tracing Mods for older titles, you might also want to check out the following ones. Modders released demos for their Path Tracing Mods for Deus ExTomb RaiderMax Payne and Call of Duty 4. Do note that the COD4 Mod is a “proof of concept” demo, and it does not look that great. On the other hand, the RTX Remix Mod for Max Payne looks amazing (at least in my opinion). Let’s also not forget the RTX Remix for COD: WoW. And then we have the RTX Remix Mods for the first and the second NFS: Underground games. Oh, and don’t forget to give a go at the RTX Remix Mods for Unreal Tournament 2004 and Lego Island 2. Finally, you can download Path Tracing Mods for Doom 2Quake, and Serious Sam.

Enjoy!
