The latest hotfix update for Starfield focuses on Creations, and here is its full changelog

A couple of days ago, Bethesda released a new hotfix update for Starfield. According to the team, this hotfix focuses on issues with Creations. So, let’s take a look at it.

Going into more details, this latest hotfix came out on July 2nd. The update fixes a problem where the game could freeze when loading a save with removed Creations. It also fixes an issue where the Microsoft Store wouldn’t open after using Quick Resume.

This update also makes it easier to buy Credits in the Steam Store. Plus, it fixes a problem with the Creation Store buttons when using Large Font Mode. Bethesda said the update also fixes a bug with adding keywords to new folders in the Creation Kit.

It’s also worth noting that the team has now stopped modders from uploading Creations with changed ini files. This is because some of these files caused a lot of problems. Removing this feature will make Creations work the same way they do in Skyrim. Bethesda said they are looking into how to handle current Starfield Creations that use altered ini files.

As said, this hotfix only focuses on Creations. As such, you should not expect any gameplay tweaks or general bug fixes. We should also note that this hotfix may break support with some mods. This shouldn’t really come as a surprise at this point. Still, it’s something you should keep in mind.

Like always, Steam will download this update the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.
