Saber Interactive officially revealed A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead, coming later this year, to PC. Published by Saber and developed by Stormind Games, this first-person, single-player, horror adventure game, inspired by Paramount Pictures’ critically-acclaimed, blockbuster film franchise, takes players into the chilling world of A Quiet Place to experience an untold story of survival after humanity’s fall to deadly creatures that hunt by sound.
As the press release reads, the game aims to capture the frantic terror, unnerving atmosphere and gripping human drama that made the franchise famous. A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead is designed for fans of the films, horror games, and story-driven adventures alike.
Players will experience the journey of a young woman struggling to endure not only the nightmarish creatures of the apocalypse, but also the anguish of interpersonal family conflicts and her own inner fears. With nothing more than your wits and the simple tools you can scavenge, you’ll have to overcome the many treacherous challenges and obstacles that lay ahead.
What’s also interesting here is that Stormind Games shared the game’s official PC system requirements. So, let’s take a look at them.
PC gamers will at least need AMD Ryzen 5 3600X or Intel Core i5 11600K with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, and NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER or an AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT. The game will also require 50GB of free disk space.
The devs recommend using an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X or Intel Core i5-12600K with 32GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or an AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT. These PC specs also confirm the presence of NVIDIA DLSS. As such, the devs recommend an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 for running the game with DLSS Balanced Mode.
