The latest Arcane Season 2 trailer teases action-packed fights and a troubled reunion for the sisters. Will they resolve their differences?

The multi-award-winning animated series is based on the uber-popular League of Legends video game from Riot Games. Season One is available on Netflix now. Fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Jinx and Vi return to Netflix later this year in Arcane Season 2 to wrap up their story.

Arcane is set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun and tells the story of League champions Jinx and Vi – and the power that’s pulling them apart. The two began their lives similarly, as criminals in Zaun, but their paths diverged wildly as they grew older.

Jinx embraces the criminal life, and Vi becomes an Enforcer. With their opposing roles chosen, they become archrivals. The animated series digs into the two’s relationship from their youth to their current deadly rivalry.

The first look at the new season teased a major storyline involving a formidable foe. The clip shows Singed bathed in a sickly green light, drifting out of consciousness with tubes hooked to his arm. A hulking, faceless monster is suspended above him.

This full trailer features Vi’s search for her sister, the return of characters from the first season, and everyone preparing for an epic new fight in the twin cities.

Arcane Season 2 Cast & Details

New members of the voice cast haven’t been announced just yet. Season 1 featured Hailee Steinfeld as Vi and Ella Purnell as Jinx. Plus, Katie Leung (Harry Potter series) as Caitlyn, Kevin Alejandro (Lucifer) as Jayce, Jason Spisak (Young Justice) as Silco, Toks Olagundoye (Castlevania) as Mel, JB Blanc (Dota: Dragon’s Blood) as Vander, and Harry Lloyd (Game of Thrones) as Viktor.

“Set in the utopian region of Piltover and the oppressed underground of Zaun, the story follows the origins of two iconic League champions-and the power that will tear them apart.”

Season One’s soundtrack was fantastic – featuring tracks from Sting, Denzel Curry, Pusha T, Bea Miller, and Imagine Dragons, among others. Hopefully, the final season will be as good or better.

Arcane Season 2 debuts on Netflix this November.
