This dropped without fanfare into the Plus catalog and it's the next best thing to seeing it on Broadway. Sparkling script, bravura performances, and additional wrinkles to the underlying story (Hamlet) that I did not see coming. Do not miss this.

I was intrigued by this novel's exploration of the serial killer story from the victim's perspective. Michallon achieves much beyond an innovative construction for her tale, "The Quiet Tenant," which provides a skillful, moving portrait of the protagonist with incidents that reveal her character in engaging prose. Highly recommended.

This detective story is utterly compelling. The details around the mechanics of crypto and NFTs are fascinating and presented in a way that is easy to grasp. The presenter is a colorful personality, and it took me a few episodes to warm up to him, but he ultimately won me over.

A terrific book, read beautifully by Simon Vance. Very moving, with strong fantasy elements. Highly recommended.

This show is laugh-out-loud funny. A spot-on performance by David Harbour brings the multi-layered comedy by Leah Beckmann and Max Silvestri to life.

I didn't know what this was when I clicked on it, but it's a find. Listen now and start laughing right away at this dry-as-bone satire on the media.

This tightly-wrought, intensely compelling story grabbed me from the outset and pulled me along its crystal-clear action throughout, despite a bevy of characters (some with multiple identities) and scenes set all over LA. The acting in "Koz" is first-rate and delivered by a distinguished cast, but I have listened to Audible Originals that lost me through unclear storytelling despite terrific casts. Not so with "Koz," which is an apex production of a multifaceted tale. Highly recommended.

I read this for the first time in 2022. Straub's "Ghost Story" delivers to the point of excess. The horror in the novel is mainly compelling, but the whole feels like it could be shortened to heighten its effect. I was aware Stephen King is an admirer of Peter Straub's, but I didn't realize that King's "It" retells this type of story with children replacing Straub's adults.

This adaptation has picked up some less-than-enthusiastic ratings. Please don’t believe them. This listen is a terrific re-working of O’Neill’s most wrenching family play.

It’s troubling that no one has been given credit for cutting the script, but the edit is effective. The pared-down text retains the action essential to the characters and the story as well as frighteningly current references to the troubled economy and struggles with addiction.

The direction and acting are remarkable. The fresh interpretation provides listeners an almost voyeuristic glimpse into a family’s life that is all the more tragic because it is so accessible.
