Sweet Rom Com with Great Storyline

Absolutely loved this book. Reminded me a lot of “It Ends With Us” because of the great character development and themes of trauma and mental health (although not as heavy).
Actors performance was fantastic. All the characters were really well fleshed out and everything was tied up with a nice bow at the end. I haven’t read (listened) to a book this good for a while and am definitely going to be checking out other titles from this author.

Here’s the thing: I’m not a bad guy. Lying to Mia wasn’t part of the plan. Finding success as a romance author using a female pen name wasn’t part of the plan, either. But sometimes, life takes unexpected turns. Like realizing the woman you’re falling for is your alter ego’s online best friend.

Disappointing

I normally am a fan of Claire Kingsley but this book was not it. Story was slow to start as others have said, but it didn’t get better for me.
Main female character’s awkwardness was very overdone and cringey. Her backstory was also not well fleshed out.
The story of the two main characters falling in love was lacking. Not much development and within 2 weeks they’re crazy in love?
Voice acting, especially the male actor, left much to be desired.
