Story
After Lucy is found wandering the streets, covered in her best friend Savvy’s blood, everyone thinks she is a murderer. Lucy and Savvy were the golden girls of their small Texas town: pretty, smart, and enviable. Lucy married a dream guy with a big ring and an even bigger new home. Savvy was the social butterfly loved by all, and if you believe the rumors, especially popular with the men in town. It’s been years since that horrible night, a night Lucy can’t remember anything about, and she has since moved to LA and started a new life.

I was really looking forward to reading this book it got great reviews and I heard all kinds of good things about it on Instagram. I feel like it didn't really dig deep. A back story would have helped me connect more to the main character.

Good suspensful plot. The narration was a little whiney for me but they are teenage girls so I guess I get it. i like that it was action packed from the start. No long drawn out beginning

Story
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn't think it's love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

The male narration was really hard to listen to! Female narration was good. I wish Tate would have stood up for herself. The beginning of the book was good and I liked the ending but the entire middle was just boring. It reminded me of so many other books I have read. Colleen Hoover is a great author but this was definitely not her best.

Story
True crime writer Wylie Lark doesn’t mind being snowed in at the isolated farmhouse where she’s retreated to write her new book. A cozy fire, complete silence. It would be perfect, if not for the fact that decades earlier, at this very house, two people were murdered in cold blood and a girl disappeared without a trace.

I have listened to several books with this narrarator and I always enjoy how she performs a story. I had a hard time following the story line and characters at first but once I figured out who everyone was the story was captivating. When the big twist happened I was actually surprised!! After reading so many murder mystery bools you become able to figure out who did it but this one kept me guessing!!

I have listened to many of Kristin's books and she writes so thoroughly and deeply. I jave learned about so many parts of history that I don't remember learning in school. I love learning and hearing of the strength people had from previous generations. I look around at all I have and think wow I take so much for granted.
