Story
Someone is committing random murders across Chicago—and making sure detectives Billy Harney (Aaron Paul) and Patti Harney (Krysten Ritter) are first on the crime scene. What connects the victims, and why is the killer leaving clues behind with each body? Billy and Patti are scrambling to stop the next killing when their father, Chief of Detectives Dan Harney (Beau Bridges), is kidnapped. But in their race to track him down, they uncover pieces of his past that simply can’t be true. Could their own flesh and blood be covering up a dark secret?

Great mystery! Action packed and suspenseful! Highly recommend if you are looking for a good book. I only wish it had been a little longer.

Story
In my book, you will meet a little girl named Viola who ran from her past until she made a life-changing decision to stop running forever. This is my story, from a crumbling apartment in Central Falls, Rhode Island, to the stage in New York City, and beyond. This is the path I took to finding my purpose but also my voice in a world that didn’t always see me.

The book started off with a bang, so I knew it would be good. Warning, non-Sunday School words are used, but once you hear the story, you understand why. Ms. Davis' story of healing and life is powerful! I can't recommend this book enough. And listening to the author herself read it, is absolutely mind-blowing. But who better to read her story? I admired her before, but now I have a new found appreciation for Viola Davis. Get the book!
