A few hours later, Samsung is expected to finally announce a market release of its long-awaited first-gen smart ring, the Galaxy Ring. Ahead of that, we have confirmation that the ring will be available in nine sizes. A fresh leak on X shows the sizing kit the company will send to buyers unsure about their ring size. The kit contains dummy rings in all nine sizes, US ring sizes 5 to 13. Rumors say the Galaxy Ring will have a limited initial release.
Galaxy Ring’s sizing kit leaked hours before launch
Noted industry insider Roland Quandt recently posted multiple images on X showing the Galaxy Ring’s sizing kit. It’s a cubic black box containing dummy rings in black. The rings are marked according to their official sizes. If you plan to buy the Samsung smart ring but aren’t sure which size fits you perfectly, you can order the sizing kit, measure the perfect size, and then order the ring. Samsung might take back the sizing kit, though there is no confirmation yet.
The actual Galaxy Ring is rumored to be available in Black, Platinum Silver, and Gold colors. The wearable recently appeared in an official promo video from Samsung. The company also previously showed off the ring publicly at MWC 2024 at the end of February. It followed a teaser during the Galaxy S24 launch in January. The Korean firm took its sweet time to hype up the new smart ring and may finally bring it to the market later this month.
However, it may not release the Galaxy Ring as widely as its smartwatches. The same source claims that the smart ring will be limited to major markets initially. Samsung may bring it to other regions later. Since each size is a different SKU, and each SKU has three color variants, it’s probably a manufacturing and distribution challenge more than anything. The company may evaluate the market for the ring before expanding its availability to more countries.

The Galaxy Ring can be a great non-intrusive health monitoring wearable if leaks are accurate. It offers a wide range of health features, almost as many as the Galaxy Watch lineup. The ring will pair with the Samsung Health app on your phone to show your health stats. Just a few more hours before Samsung reveals it all. The Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris begins at 3 p.m. CEST/ 6 a.m. PDT/ 1 p.m. GMT and brings several other products, including foldables.
