Samsung is gearing up to launch two new smartwatches next month. The company has the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra in the pipeline. The former is the regular annual upgrade over the Galaxy Watch 6, while the latter is a first-of-its-kind premium offering. Leaks have already revealed a lot about the upcoming wearables. A fresh leak confirms the rumored colors and sizes for both models.

Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra colors and sizes confirmed

A few days ago, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch FE as its entry-level smartwatch proposition. It is a rebadged Galaxy Watch 4 intended for people looking to buy a capable Wear OS watch without breaking the bank. It costs $200 and gives you a reliable smartwatch performance with a wide range of health features and an excellent Galaxy ecosystem. The device comes in a 40mm size in Bluetooth and LTE versions.

Since it’s a rebadged version of a 2021 model, the Galaxy Watch FE doesn’t give you the latest hardware, including the chip. This is where the Galaxy Watch 7 comes along. At an additional $100 (rumored to start at $300), you get Samsung’s newest wearable chip, a better display, and many other upgrades. The new watch will also run the latest version of Wear OS and One UI Watch, Samsung’s custom watch platform.

Rumors say the company will release the Galaxy Watch 7 in 40mm and 44mm sizes. Tipster Arsene Lupin, aka MysteryLupin,  just reconfirmed the rumors. The source also reconfirmed the color options. Samsung’s upcoming smartwatch will be available in Forest Green, Cream, and Marble Gray colors. The company could add more colorways down the line, but these are the three shades planned for the initial production run.

The Galaxy Watch Ultra, meanwhile, doesn’t get many variants. Samsung’s first-ever Ultra watch will come in a single 47mm size. If this leak is accurate, the company also plans to launch it in only one color—Titanium Gray. However, we have seen its renders in black before, so maybe the Galaxy Watch Ultra will get two color options in some markets. The black variant may not be available as widely as the gray.

The Ultra watch is in a league of its own

Rumored to cost $700 and above, the Galaxy Watch Ultra is all set to become the most expensive smartwatch Samsung has ever made. It is an ultra-premium offering with a titanium frame, massive battery, industry-leading screen, premium design, stronger build quality, and more. Samsung aims to take on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. Its new watches debut alongside new foldables at the next Unpacked on July 10.
