The OnePlus Watch 3 has been popping up in the news already, despite the fact the OnePlus Watch 2 didn’t launch so long. The device isn’t expected to launch until next year, but it’s possible it alraedy surfaced on TENAA certification. Do note that it’s possible that this is some other OnePlus-branded smartwatch, it remains to be seen. Either way, the shared image reveals that the watch will have a round design.
This mysterious OnePlus Watch will have a round design
It’s only been a few months since the OnePlus Watch 2 released. Now, the company is gearing up to release yet another OnePlus Watch model, but it remains to be seen which one. MySmartPrice have spotted a new OnePlus smartwatch on the TENAA certification, which could be the OnePlus Watch 3.
According to the certificate, this OnePlus Watch will have a circular design. It will also have two buttons on its right side that will help you control the watch.
In terms of connectivity, the smartwatch will support LTE connectivity for eSIMs, according to the certificate. It will be compatible with China Unicom, China Telecom, and China Mobile telecom operators. The smartwatch will also include GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, WLAN, and NFC.
The certificate also reveals the smartwatch’s battery capacity. This OnePlus Watch will come with a 500mAh battery.
Before appearing on the TENAA certification, the watch was already listed on the BIS, 3C, and TUV certifications. All certifications list the watch with the model number OPWW234, and according to the 3C certification, the smartwatch will support 10W charging but will not include an adapter.
The OnePlus Watch 3 is expected to come with the Snapdragon Wear 5 SoC
The OnePlus Watch 2 is powered by the Snapdragon Wear W5 SoC, and it’s expected that the upcoming smartwatch in the series will also use the same processor. However, it may be a W5 Gen 2, which hasn’t been announced by Qualcomm yet.
The OnePlus Watch 2 has been well-received by audiences and has managed to overcome the poor performance of its predecessor. As we get closer to the official launch of the OnePlus Watch 3, you can expect more leaks and rumors about the watch design and specs. Time will tell whether this is actually the OnePlus Watch 3 or not. It seems to be a bit early for it to surface on TENAA, though.
