We are still five months away from the new line of Pixel devices, but this is Google we’re talking about; we’ve already seen a boatload of leaks showing off these devices. So, what’s a few more leaks? Here are the official leaked wallpapers for the Pixel 9 series.
Each new phone that comes out has a new set of wallpapers to help characterize the device’s look and feel. A lot of the time, Google’s Pixel wallpapers have a very natural approach to them. We often see crystals, flowers, or other shots of nature. However, this time around, it appears that Google went a more abstract route. What’s neat is that you can download these wallpapers in their full resolution.
Here are the wallpapers for the upcoming Pixel 9 phones
This time around, it appears that Google wanted to revamp the overall aesthetic of its Pixel wallpapers. It may seem like there are a lot of wallpapers, but they are all doubled up. There’s a light theme version and a dark theme version of each wallpaper. The leak shows these wallpapers for all rumored models of the Pixel 9 phones. These are the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Keeping with the natural tone of most Google wallpapers, we see shapes that look like flowers. However, above the flowers, we see clear shapes that distort them. They almost look like drops of water or glass pebbles. This is pretty much the same for all of the wallpapers, and they look nice.
One thing to note, and this might be a bit worrying, is the fact that Google didn’t attribute the images to a particular artist as it did with past iterations. So, there’s always the chance that these wallpapers were made within the company. What’s worrying is the fact that Google has been going all in with AI over the past year. So, it’s completely reasonable to think that these wallpapers were AI-generated.
