GeForce NOW is back for another round of ‘GFN Thursdays’ and this time around there are six new games for players including Aragami 2. Now if you’re thinking, “I’ve been able to play Aragami 2 on GeForce Now for a long time” you’d be right on that. Aragami 2 officially launched on GeForce NOW back in 2021. However, this was for the Steam version of the game. It was also at a time when Xbox and NVIDIA had no sort of partnership regarding the cloud gaming service.

But as you probably know, Microsoft was approved for its acquisition of Activision Blizzard. And part of that approval came with reaching deals with various partners. One of those partners was NVIDIA. As part of that deal, Microsoft agreed to start bringing Xbox games to GeForce NOW. Today, one of those Xbox games is Aragami 2. So if you owned the game on Steam, you’ve been able to play it for a couple of years. But if you picked the game up through Xbox or through the Xbox PC app, you can now play it in the cloud using NVIDIA’s service.

This seems like a minor thing and to most it probably is. But it’s likely not minor to anyone who owned the game on Xbox. Because now it means if they want to play it via GeForce NOW, they don’t have to buy the game again through a different game store.

Aragami 2 on Xbox is one of six new games on GeForce NOW this week

Aragami 2 is a great game and if you haven’t played it, I urge you to give it a try. But it’s not the only new game being added to the GeForce NOW library today. Subscribers can also stream the Stormgate demo that was made available as part of Steam Next Fest. This demo was made available to stream via GeForce NOW as of today, but the demo has been available to play since February 5. It will also only stick around until February 12. After that, the demo will no longer be accessible.

So, if you want to play the demo using GeForce NOW, then now is the time to do so. In terms of full-game releases, subscribers also have access to The Inquisitor, art of rally, dotAGE, Tram Simulator Urban Transit, and The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series. All of these are available right now to play in the cloud if you own them. The Inquisitor, dotAGE, Tram Simulator Urban Transit, and The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series are all available via Steam. Meanwhile, art of rally is an Xbox title.

GeForce NOW members can get a discount on the Logitech G Cloud handheld

If you’re looking for a dedicated way to enjoy your GeForce NOW games, consider the Logitech G Cloud. This handheld was built specifically for cloud gaming and it’s the perfect size and weight for such a device. It has a large screen, doesn’t weigh as much as other handhelds, and GeForce NOW comes preinstalled. Not to mention the controls are great. Right now NVIDIA is offering GeForce NOW members a 20% discount through the GeForce NOW Rewards portal.

There is one caveat to this discount. You need to be either a Priority member or an Ultimate member. And the discount is only available to the first 500 people to redeem the code via the rewards portal. If you hurry, you might still be able to grab a discount code.
