Sony has officially announced the PlayStation Plus free games for January 2024. Next month’s free games will be A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West, and Nobody Saves The World. In addition to these three games, PlayStation Plus subscribers will also get a free PlayStation Plus pack for Warframe. The Syrinx Collection as it’s called will give players a bundle of free content that is exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Inside the collection players can access exclusive weapons, armor, and in-game items that can be used in the game. Some of the items include the Syrinx chest, shoulder, and leg plates, a Baza Rifle, and 170 platinum. Players will also get Affinity Boosters and Credit Boosters lasting for 7 days each.
If you’re unfamiliar with the games, each one offers something a little different. A Plague Tale: Requiem is the sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence and follows the siblings Amicia and Hugo as they leave their homeland in search of safe haven and a way to save Hugo from his curse. Evil West meanwhile is a third-person shooter where you take up the mantle of one of the last remaining vampire hunters. Vampires and all other manners of the night horde must be destroyed and you’re the one to do it. Evil West offers solo play but you can also go through the campaign with a friend in co-op mode.
As for Nobody Saves The World, it’s an isometric hack-and-slash action RPG that lets players transform a “nobody” into various forms with different abilities. You’ll need to utilize this power to fight back against the calamity and save the world. You can once again go through the game solo here but online co-op is also available.
PlayStation Plus games for January land on January 2
As is customary with each new month of free games, you’ll be able to play the newly added PlayStation Plus titles on the first Tuesday of the month. Which in this case is going to be January 2 as noted in the PlayStation Blog post. Those who play Warframe will also be able to access the special Syrinx Collection pack on the same day. These free games and the Warframe content will be available to all PlayStation Plus members. So it doesn’t matter which tier you have. Whether you subscribe to Essential, Extra, or Premium, this content is available to all.
Also, keep in mind that you don’t have much longer to claim the free content for December. If you haven’t already done so, you can claim PlayStation Plus December content until January 1. The free games for December include LEGO 2K Drive, Powerwash Simulator, and Sable. Sable in particular is an excellent game and worth picking up. Especially for free.
