NVIDIA is rolling out a new promotion for buyers of its GeForce RTX 40-series GPUs where you get PC Game Pass for free. If ever there was a reason to upgrade to a new graphics card, this is one potential reason, though there are certainly many others. While we wouldn’t suggest buying a 40-series card just for the Game Pass sub, it’s a nice little cherry on top. And one that definitely sweetens the pot a little bit.

With an RTX 40-series GPU one of the main benefits is access to improved performance in games. And this partly comes by way of the support for the new DLSS 3 feature. Older cards have access to DLSS2 but DLSS 3 increases those performance gains pretty significantly. And if you like playing your games in 4K the DLSS3 is a big boost.

NVIDIA RTX 40-series GPU buyers get PC Game Pass for three months

PC Game Pass would generally cost you $9.99 a month, so getting it for free for three months will save you $30. But if that wasn’t enough then NVIDIA is sweetening the pot even more. Buying a compatible RTX 40-series GPU will also net you three months of the GeForce NOW Priority Membership for free. So in total you get $60 worth of gaming subscriptions.

Granted with a new graphics card you might not be spending a lot of time cloud gaming. But for the times that you will, you can load up any new games via GeForce NOW on devices like your smartphone. And PC Game Pass will give you tons of new games to check out with that new graphics card. All at no extra charge.

Three games get support for DLSS

When it comes to DLSS tons of games already have support for it. In fact Starfield just gained support for it earlier this month. But NVIDIA also works with developers to add support for more games on basically a weekly basis. Similar to how often it adds new games to GeForce NOW.

This week there are three games getting support for the DLSS feature and this includes Gangs of Sherwood, Last Train Home, and Satisfactory. Last Train Home launched today and Satisfactory was recently updated to use Unreal Engine 5. Gangs of Sherwood meanwhile will launch on November 30.
