Undoubtedly, many people traded in their Pixel 7 for a new Pixel 8. Well, the trade-in value of the Pixel 7 Pro just plummeted, so trading it in won’t get you much of a deal.

These are the newest flagship phones from Google, and they bring a ton of new and exciting changes. The trade-in value of the Pixel 7 Pro just plummeted

If you were waiting to get your hands on a sweet trade-in deal with the Pixel 8 Pro,  you’ve sadly missed your chance. As per the report, the trade-in value for the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro has dropped considerably now that the pre-order period is over.

If you want to trade in your Pixel 7 Pro with 128GB storage, the company will give you $274.For the 256GB variant of the same phone, you’ll get $299 and the 512GB variant is down to $325. That’s a tough blow, seeing as the trade-in value for the 128GB model used to be $420. That shows a roughly 35% drop in value for that model.

If you’re looking to trade in your regular Pixel 7, your fate won’t be that much different. If you trade in your 128GB model, you’re getting a cool $200. What if you bump it up to the 256GB version? You’re getting $225. The trade-in value for the  128GB version used to be $325, so that marks a 38% drop in value.

So, if you were planning on waiting to pick up your Pixel 8, then you’re not out of luck. The pre-order trade-in value has been greatly diminished. Also, you won’t get a free Pixel Watch or a pair of Pixel Buds. The honeymoon phase is officially over, but that was to be expected. Now, it’s time to look forward to Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals.
