The Pixel 7a is a well-built phone, but no phone is indestructible. This (and, well legislature) is why Google partnered with iFixit to allow Pixel phone users to repair their own products. Now, through this partnership, you can buy genuine Pixel 7a parts from iFixit, according to 9To5Google (via XDA Developers).
Companies like Samsung, Google, and Apple are now compelled to offer official parts to allow consumers to repair their own products. This process is much cheaper than sending them off or taking them to a store. In the case of the Pixel phones, for the time being, you can order parts for models as old as the Pixel 2. That’s great to hear considering this phone lost software support several years back.

If you’re afraid that you’ll break your phone even further, then there’s no shame in sending in your phone. If you’re taking your phone apart, it’s recommended that you know what you’re doing. Not only do you risk damaging your phone, but you’re also operating around the exposed battery cell. If you accidentally puncture it, then you could possibly cause a fire.
With the PSA out of the way, you can head over to iFixit and purchase parts to repair your Pixel 7a should it need it. There’s a list of items you can buy from the site, and it’s a relatively short list. However, it covers some of the fundamental components.
The most expensive part is the screen, and that will set you back $109.99. That’s not too bad of a price. The screen is one of the first parts to get damaged along with the back cover. If you break your back cover, that will cost you $44.99.
Moving onto the cameras, picking up a main camera module will cost $66.99 and an ultrawide module will cost you $36.99. A rear camera module holder will cost you $3.99.
If your battery is damaged, or if you just want to get a replacement, then you can pick up a battery cell for $39.99. Lastly, the company offers various assortments of adhesive pads to put your phone back together. If you’re shopping for parts for your phone, be sure to look for the accompanying adhesive pads. You don’t want anything coming loose.
