How much will the Pixel Tablet cost?

Google finally announced that the Pixel Tablet is going up for pre-order, and we are all excited to get our hands on it. One question that’s been floating around has been the price. Well, we know how much the Pixel Tablet will cost you, and it’s not a bad price.

How much does the Pixel Tablet cost?

The Pixel Tablet is meant to be a premium device to go up against the Galaxy Tabs in the Apple iPads of the world, so we are not expecting a mid-range price. However, we were hoping for a price that would not break the bank either. The addition of the charging dock for the device complicated things, as that accessory costs $129.

Thankfully, Google managed to give this device a reasonable price. Buying the Pixel Tablet will cost you only $499. The beauty of it is that this price includes the charging dock. We were all wondering if Google was going to sell both the Pixel Tablet and the charging dock separately. $129 is just the thing to take a price from mid-range to Premium.

At only $499, the Pixel Tablet will definitely undercut some of the more premium Galaxy Tabs and iPads. This puts it at only $20 more than the newly released OnePlus pad.

Other specs

The Pixel Tablet will have a 2560 x 1600 LCD display at 10.95 inches. As for the RAM and storage, it will have 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB/256GB of onboard storage. It’s powered by the Google Tensor G2 SoC with the Titan M2 coprocessor.

There’s an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and you will have most of the same software features that you get in Pixel phones. You’ll probably use the front-facing camera more for video calls.
