Android 13 has started rolling out to the OnePlus Nord CE. We are, of course, talking about a stable build. This update comes with OxygenOS 13, and it is the last major Android update that this smartphone will get.

The OnePlus Nord CE is now getting the Android 13 update, its second major Android update

The OnePlus Nord CE was originally launched back in 2021 with Android 11 and OxygenOS 11. This is the second major Android update that is coming to the phone. One thing to note is that this update is coming to the ‘GLO’ models now. That presumably means ‘Global’.

So, depending on where you bought the phone, you may not be getting the update at this point. It will start rolling out in other markets too, though, and soon. Also, do note that the rollout is staged, so it may take a while for it to arrive to your unit.

This new build is marked as ‘EB2103_11.F.04’. Your phone will let you know once the update is available, but you can always manually check via the settings, of course.

Now, considering this is a major Android update, the changelog is massive. You will be getting all the major Android 13 changes, plus a ton of changes that ColorOS 13 delivers.

Android 13 and OxygenOS 13 deliver a lot of changes

This update adds the company’s Aquamorphic Design theme colors, and animations too. OnePlus also optimized UI layers for a “clearer and neater visual experience”. The fonts have also been optimized for better readability.

This update adds large folders to the table, and optimizes the Quick Settings experience. More markup tools are now available for screenshot editing, while the Sidebar Toolbox has also been added.

The ‘Shelf’ has been optimized, and the same goes for ‘Screencast’. The company also optimized Bitmoji to offer more Always-On Display animations. ‘Omoji’ have been added so that you can express yourself with customized avatars.

The security has been boosted, and OnePlus also made some changes to ‘Health & Digital wellbeing’. If you’d like to check out the full changelog, it is available here.
