FuboTV is expanding recurring recording support to a host of new content. You can now have the service automatically record every pre and postgame show of your favorite local teams across several sports. It also supports the automatic and recurring recording of certain shows from specific channels.

FuboTV is arguably the best live TV streaming service for sports fans in the US. It offers a plethora of channels covering a wide range of live sports. You get Bally Sports, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, Fox Sports, MLB Network, NBA TV, NFL Network, NFL RedZone, NHL Network, the Pac-12 Network, and more. If you can’t tune in to the live coverage, the service also offers recording support. The FuboTV base plan comes with 1,000 hours of DVR.

You can already set a host of shows for recurring recording, ensuring that you don’t miss any bit of the action. The Team Recording feature added in April last year allows you to record live games of your favorite teams. FuboTV will have the whole game saved for you, so you can catch up later on demand. However, this feature doesn’t cover everything. For certain shows, such as pre and postgame shows, you must manually start recording when it airs. This isn’t ideal as you might not always be available when your favorite local team plays. The latest expansion addresses this concern for many users.

FuboTV expands automatic recording to pre and postgame shows

According to The Streamable, FuboTV now supports recurring recording of pre and postgame shows of most local sports teams in your region. The publication names Astros, Bruins, Cubs, Devils, Islanders, Knicks, Kracken, Mariners, Mets, Phillies, Rangers, Red Sox, Rockets, and White Sox, though the list is likely a lot longer. You can also automatically record a host of other shows, such as the College GameDay, Monday Night Kickoff, ESPN’s NFL Live, Golf Central, Tennis Channel’s Courtside Live, MLB Network’s Hot Stove and Quick Pitch, and various shows from fuboTV’s Adventure Plus Package.

By covering pre and postgame shows under recurring recording, FuboTV is giving users the ability to catch up to all the conversations that happen before and after a game, whenever they want. This adds to its reputation of being the best live TV streaming service for sports fans. The company is planning to enter the sports betting market next year, which feels like a natural expansion for it. We will keep a close eye on this development and let you know as soon as we have more information.
