Well, you can’t expect all new features to be massive upgrades. YouTube TV is finally adding the time to its Live Guide interface. The company even went as far as to post an entire animation about it.
This news comes to us from Twitter (via 9To5Google). YouTube TV is a cable television alternative. The company shows you live television shows just like any typical cable package. While there is some on-demand stuff, the company focuses on real-time streaming shows that have actual time slots.
This is for people who want to take their TV on the go and not deal with the high cable package costs. A lot of the time, most of the cost of a cable package comes from the physical equipment that needs to be installed.
YouTube TV adds the time to the Live Guide
YouTube TV’s mobile and TV app interfaces are pretty straightforward and refined. However, there is always room for improvement. The company took to Twitter to share an animation showing its newest edition. YouTube TV finally added the time to its Live Guide.
The Live guide is basically the TV Guide that shows you what shows are currently playing on different channels. It shows all of the time slots for the shows and it gives you a peek at what’s coming up next. While this is convenient, the company felt that it could help you out a little bit more.
Now, when you’re on the Live Guide, you will see the current time in the upper left-hand corner of the guide. Also, the time will appear on the screen when you’re viewing a show’s preview screen. The company made a whole animation regarding the feature, and you can see it in the tweet below.
