Samsung launched two new luxurious straps for the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Called the Link Bracelet and the Milanese, both are metallic bands for the company’s latest smartwatches. The former is made of titanium while the latter is a stainless steel strap.
The Galaxy Watch 5 series gets two new official strap options
Samsung offers multiple strap choices for its latest smartwatches. But if none of the existing options appealed to you, the latest additions might. These are luxurious straps with a style statement. The Link Bracelet option, in particular, can greatly add to you your look and comfort if matched with the outfit. Made for the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, this strap has a magnetic D-buckle design with a lightweight solid titanium body. It has multiple push-release buttons to enable easy length adjustment without any special tools.
The Milanese strap is available for the 40mm and 44mm Galaxy Watch 5 as well as the Galaxy Watch 4 series. It also features a magnetic D-buckle design with a mesh texture. The mesh structure is pretty dense but has enough ventilation and a smooth surface for comfortable wear around the wrist. This strap can be used as a daily strap for your Samsung smartwatch. Thanks to its modern design, you can wear it wherever you go. It will fit perfectly in both casual and formal attire.
Price and availability
Samsung has released the Link Bracelet and Milanese straps for the Galaxy Watch 5 series in its homeland South Korea and the US. Perhaps these have been available in the US for some time now. The former is priced at $299.99 and comes in Gray and Black color options. The latter is available in Black and Silver color options for $99.99. It also comes in two size choices — Small/Medium and Medium/Large. The Link Bracelet is one size fits all, thanks to easy length adjustment. Both straps are now available to purchase with immediate shipping.
In South Korea, Samsung is offering these straps bundled with the latest smartwatches. The Galaxy Watch 5 Bluetooth model along with the Milanese strap costs KRW 319,000 (approx. USD 226) for the 40mm option and KRW 339,000 (approx. USD 240) for the 44mm option. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro Bluetooth model is available with the Link Bracelet strap for KRW 599,000 (approx. USD 425). This is on top of the existing KRW 30,000 coupon you get when purchasing these smartwatches in Samsung’s homeland. This coupon can be redeemed against other Galaxy products and accessories.
