FuboTV has just announced that it has added 13 more ABC affiliate stations to its lineup.

The company was able to strike a deal with Quincy Media. So all of the ABC affiliates from Quincy Media are now available on FuboTV. Those are affiliates in states like Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Alabama, West Virginia, Arkansas, and Wyoming. Here’s the full list of affiliates now available on FuboTV with this latest deal:

  • WEEK (Peoria, IL)
  • WAOW (Wausau, WI)
  • WPTA (Ft. Wayne, IN)
  • WNCF (Montgomery, AL)
  • WOAY (Bluefield-Oakhill, WV)
  • KYUR (Anchorage, AK)
  • KATN (Fairbanks, AK)
  • KJUD (Juneau, AK)
  • KKTQ (Cheyenne, WY)
  • KTWO (Casper, WY)
  • WPBY (Lafayette, IN)
  • WQOW (Eau Claire, WI)
  • WXOW (La Crosse, WI)

FuboTV now has 55 local ABC affiliate stations

FuboTV is still catching up to the competition when it comes to local channels. As it’s not as simple as reaching deals with ABC, CBS and NBC. You have to actually strike deals with the parent companies of each station. And there are many companies that own different stations across the country. So FuboTV is working hard to get ABC and other affiliates on-board across the country.

It also added the slate of Disney-owned channels earlier this year. And that included bringing in a national ABC feed in about 100 markets across the country in November. As sort of a band-aid to hold people over until they get all of the affiliates on-board, across the country.

The big difference between the national feeds of ABC versus the local, is that you miss out on local news. Though most affiliates do stream their news for free on their own apps or websites. So it’s not a huge deal. And you still get to watch ABC favorites like The Bachelor, Good Morning America, Grey’s Anatomy and more.

FuboTV is also still compatible with Roku, unlike YouTube TV. Making it a really good option if you were looking to switch.
