If, for some reason, you really like the design of Google Keep, but don’t want to use the app, there’s an alternative for you. The name of the app is Easy Notes, and it’s actually a great note-taking app.
This application comes from the same developer(s) who deliver the My Radio, QR Scanner App, QR Code Generator, and Barcode Generator apps. All those apps are highly-rated in the Play Store, and so is the Easy Notes app.
The Easy Notes app is highly-rated in the Google Play Store, for a good reason
After over 3,000 reviews, the app is holding a 4.8-star rating, for a good reason. This app looks great, the UI is spot on if you like simple, and yet functional designs. It’s flat, and yet it comes packed with features.
This application’s main screen looks similar to that of Google Keep. You can get your notes laid out in two rows, and you can sort them by the time they were made. A search function is also built in, in case you need to find specific notes.
The app will automatically save your notes while you’re writing them, and you can also create checklists if you want. Color-coding is available, and there are quite a few color options to choose from here, more than Google Keep offers.
Reminders are also included
Reminders are baked in here as well. You can set reminders for something you need to do, similar as you’d do in other note-taking applications. Sharing notes is also a breeze, as it’s built into this app, and works really well.
Do you often include photos and / or audio in your notes? Well, that’s not a problem for this application either, as both of those options are available. To make things even better, you can set specific categories for your notes, which functions similar to tags in Google Keep. That way, you can do an even better job at organizing them.
Now, if formatting is a feature you need, then you’re in the right place. This app also allows you to use bold, italic, underline, and highlight features for your notes.
