Samsung has announced the addition of ABC News Live to Samsung TV Plus in the US. The latest addition takes the number of free news channels on Samsung TV Plus to ten. Those include ABC News Live, CBSN, NewsNOW from FOX, Bloomberg TV+ UHD, Cheddar, Yahoo Finance, Newsy, USA TODAY, Newsmax TV, and TYT Network.
Samsung TV Plus is a free video service for the company’s Smart TV users. It gives users access to thousands of shows ranging from documentaries to news and entertainment from over 150 partner providers. This vast catalog of free content is what sets the Korean company’s Smart TV lineups apart from the competition.
The company has been gradually expanding its roster of partner providers on the platform. The addition of ABC News Live is yet another big stride towards improving its TV Plus platform.

Samsung TV Plus users gain free access to ABC News Live
With 23 million average monthly viewers, ABC News Live is one of the more popular news channels in the US. The channel is reportedly available to more than 200 million streamers. It offers 24/7 streaming of everything from live events to breaking news and in-depth reporting from around the world.
It also features several original programs. “ABC News Live Prime” with Linsey Davis, “ABC News Live Update” with Diane Macedo, and “Your Voice Your Vote: The Breakdown” with Diane Macedo and Terry Moran are some of the popular ABC News Live original programs. All these are now accessible to millions of more viewers on Samsung TV Plus.

Samsung TV Plus is available on all Samsung Smart TVs launched in 2016 or later. A smartphone app for the service is now available to download on select Galaxy flagships as well. Users of the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy Note 20 devices can also access Samsung TV Plus for free on their handsets.
