Huawei has announced two new budget smartphones today. The devices in question are the Huawei Enjoy 9S and Enjoy 9e. Both of these devices have been announced in China, and both of them are quite affordable, so let’s see what they have to offer.

Huawei Enjoy 9S

The Huawei Enjoy 9S is a budget phone which is made out of metal and glass, it actually looks quite premium. The device includes a tiny notch at the top of its display, and a “chin” below the display. All of its physical keys are located on the right, and the phone’s display sports rounded corners.

This phone packs in three cameras on the back, along with a rear-facing fingerprint scanner. Huawei’s logo is also placed on the back of the phone, and the device comes in Red, Black, and Gradient (shades of blue) color variants.

The phone features a 6.21-inch fullHD+ display, 4GB of RAM and 64GB / 128GB of expandable storage. The phone is fueled by the Kirin 710 64-bit octa-core processor, while it includes a 3,400mAh battery.

Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed here with Emotion UI (EMUI) 9.0, while the phone includes 24, 2, and 16-megapixel cameras on the back. A single 8-megapixel camera is included on the front, while the device measures 155.2 x 73.4 x 7.95mm, and weighs 160 grams. The phone’s pricing starts at 1,499 Yuan ($223), while it will become available in China today, there’s still no word when will it hit other markets.

Huawei Enjoy 9e

The Huawei Enjoy 9e is essentially a Chinese variant of the Y6 2019 which was announced a while back. The phone includes a single camera on the back, along with Huawei’s branding, while it comes with a tiny display notch, and a “chin” below the display. Huawei’s logo is also located below this phone’s display. The phone’s physical keys are located on the right, while its SIM card tray is accessible from the left.

The Huawei Enjoy 9e features a 6.09-inch HD+ (1560 x 720) display with curved glass on top of it, along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage. Android 9 Pie comes pre-installed on this phone, along with EMUI skin.

A 13-megapixel camera (f/1.8 aperture) is included on the back of this phone, while an 8-megapixel unit (f/2.0 aperture) sits on the device’s front side. A 3,020mAh battery is also a part of this package, while the phone comes with two SIM card slots, and a separate microSD slot.

The device is fueled by the Helio A22 64-bit quad-core processor by MediaTek, while it measures 156.28 x 73.5 x 8mm, and weighs 150 grams. The Enjoy 9e comes in Black, Blue, and Gold color variants, and it is priced at 999 Yuan ($148). The phone will become available for pre-order starting on April 2, and go on sale on April 8 in China. Once again, this is just a Chinese variant of the Huawei Y6 2019, so it’s technically already available outside of China.
