About a week ago, OUKITEL has announced that the C15 Pro handset is coming, and that it will become the company’s first smartphone with a teardrop notch. In addition to that, the company also revealed several specs of that smartphone, and now OUKITEL has expanded upon that, and shared some more specs for all of us to check out.

The phone will feature a 6.088-inch 1280 x 600 IPS LCD display which will be protected by Asahi Glass 2. The phone will be fueled by the MT6761 quad-core processor, and the company also says that this will be the first global smartphone fueled by that chip. Android 9 Pie will come pre-installed on the device, and it will sport a rather light version of Android, without bloat.

The phone will include 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage, and it will support WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. That is basically all the spec info that we have at the moment, but OUKITEL did share a new render of the phone as well, so we have a pretty good idea as to what to expect in the design department.

The OUKITEL C15 Pro will include a teardrop notch, as already mentioned, and right above that notch, you will notice an earpiece. The phone’s display will sport rounded corners, and a “chin” will be included below the phone’s display. OUKITEL’s renders don’t really show buttons on the sides, but they will be there, we just don’t know the exact setup just yet.

If you take a closer look at the image provided above, you will notice that the device will include two rear-facing cameras, while an LED flash will be placed in-between them. That image does not show us a fingerprint scanner, but it is possible that the fingerprint scanner will be included on the back of the device, if OUKITEL ends up including one in the OUKITEL C15 Pro. So, as you can see, the OUKITEL C15 Pro will be an entry-level smartphone, and OUKITEL said that it will launch “soon”.

The OUKITEL C15 Pro will be inferior to the OUKITEL U23, while it remains to be seen how will it compare to the OUKITEL U25 Pro handset which is available for purchase for around $100 as we speak. The OUKITEL C15 Pro will be extremely affordable, that is for sure, and it may end up being more affordable than the C15 Pro. OUKITEL will release more information in the near future, so stay tuned if you’re interested in the C15 Pro.
