Besides the Meizu E3, Google’s Android Enterprise Device Catalog also prematurely listed the entire Meizu 15 lineup, having detailed the Meizu 15, 15 Plus, and 15 Lite models earlier this week, before the Chinese phone maker announced any of them. The Meizu 15 Plus also recently leaked in one real-life image that can be seen in the gallery below and corresponds to Google’s own listing, with the only difference between the photograph and the official render being the color of the phablet they depict. According to the catalog, all three devices will feature front-mounted fingerprint readers doubling as physical Home buttons and 16:9 screens but none will have NFC support. The regular Meizu 15 is listed as sporting a 5.5-inch display panel and 4GB of RAM, as well as Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The handset will be available in two variants, with the base model featuring 64GB of internal flash memory and the more premium one doubling that figure, according to the same source.

The Meizu 15 Lite has an identical screen size and RAM configuration but will be offered with 32GB and 64GB of storage space, whereas both models will run Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box. The most capable member of the upcoming mobile family sports a 6-inch screen, 6GB of RAM, and Android 7.0 Nougat, the catalog reveals, adding that the Meizu 15 Pro will be sold with 64GB and 128GB of native storage. The discrepancies between the operating system versions running on the trio haven’t been addressed and their cause remains unclear, though the overall user experience they’re offering should be nearly identical and based on the company’s own FlymeOS.

While the Meizu E3 has already been confirmed for a late March launch, it’s presently unclear when the Chinese original equipment manufacturer is planning to officially unveil the Meizu 15 series. The mid-rangers are likely to be targeted at the firm’s home country and a number of other markets, with Meizu being expected to price them in a relatively aggressive manner, much like it handles the rest of its portfolio.
