M-Steel Slinky Guitar Strings
One the loudest, most expressive strings ever created
M-Steel is a superalloy used in high stress applications for the aerospace and defense industries. The wound strings are comprised of a patented Super Cobalt alloy wrapped around a maraging steel hex core wire, producing a richer and fuller tone with powerful low-end response. M-Steel plain strings are comprised of specially tempered steel for maximum fatigue resistance. Higher output and very bright
I did a back to back test with regular EB slinkies (10s) and these (also 10s). The output is certainly higher and they are very bright! Enough that I had to redo the EQ and a number of settings. I really wasn't expecting that much of a difference. They do feel nice even for new strings. Hopefully they will be durable.Adding to this:They do take a bit to really break in. At first they were incredibly bright. After breaking in they are much more neutral on a guitar that tends to be a bit dark. (I'm at 5s across the board but with Regular Slinkies I was more like 3 bass and 7 treble. )I do like the feel a lot. Compared to the Regular Slinkies, they do feel noticeably stiffer when it comes to bends.
