I downloaded this app to both my Fire TV 2nd Generations. I wouldn't say I'm a daily user but I frequently check it out. I used to call myself a "gamer" but have fell off quite a bit. Only having time to play a few triple A games a year is a bummer. This app is nice to have for me to see what is happening in the gaming world.

I mainly browse around game reviews and trailers to see what's happening, what's coming out, and what are the hot titles at the time. You could probably do this through Youtube searching game titles and what not but it's kind of hard when you don't know the actual game names to look up. This app helps me fill that void, load it up and start browsing around. The interface is decent but could use some work.

The ads are bit more than I'd like but they gotta get paid somehow. So in that regard I believe it's justified for them throwing ads before the videos. They aren't extremely long but enough to make your viewing pleasure a bit annoying.

Honestly, when I do look at great video games and tips for tricks, I look a lot online through Youtube and video game websites. But lately, more people have been looking for what makes a video game stellar and strong. So I have gotten the chance to view video game reviews from sites like GameXplain, and independent critics that have had podcasts and statements that have showed to be just as strong as when the days we used to try and pick up a copy of a classic video game magazine like Gamepro or Nintendo Power. IGN has been one of those websites that has really shown to have excelelnt tips and ideas for what makes a classic video game system or a new video game drive all the way to the top of the leaderboard. IGN is one of those websites that does a good job at giving tips and reviews on what are the best video games on the market. I did glance at reviews for games like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Sonic Mania Plus. Overall, there are many places to go to find a great video game, but you should still start by listening to the critics because they can give you the real truth on a good video game, or a title that seems pretty at first, but can say you may a bad choice in buying or playing. I suggest you check out IGN for all the video game news you can seek & find.

I am a big fan of IGN and I have this app on my Xbox and phone. However, the Firestick version seems out of date and lacking content that is offered on other versions. For example, you can only find Playstation related videos and shows. I always go to IGN for any video game new first regardless of what platform is the subject, but to omit Nintendo and Xbox related content is a misstep. I hope that IGN gets this version updated soon that way I can better enjoy it.

Wer sich gelegentlich durch die Video Podcasts von IGN berieseln möchte kann dies mit diesem freien App erreichen. Dies kann jedoch auch über das YouTube Channel Abo ebenfalls erreicht werden.
