Fantastic
Most of the screen protectors I've used are really annoying to install. These screen protectors are extremely easy to install, are invisible, and don't interfere with the touch screen's operation. Installation on the touch screen is a bit more difficult, but overall it's hard to get bad results if you're patient and careful. Some suggestions:- The alignment of the bottom screen protector is very important. It's slightly smaller than the screen, so you will want to not put it too close to the edges. It's a little hard to align because of sticker overlap, but it can be inspected carefully. If it overlaps the edges, then it will create a bubble that can't be removed.- Install both screen protectors under a bright light. This makes everything easier to see.- Don't use the included cardboard to remove bubbles! It has very rough edges that can scratch the screen protectors. Instead, use a fingernail over a microfiber cloth.- The instructions on bubble removal are not very clear. Place your fingernail on the center of the bubble then make a circular motion moving towards its edges. If the bubble does not disappear, then slowly squish it to the edges of the screen protector. When it reduces in size, you can try the circular motion again.

I spent days researching and weighing my options on 3DS XL screen protectors. Everyone had negative feedback on everything and there were always horror stories about damaged screens and tinted protectors.

Well, I'm here to tell you that these are an absolute buy!
Time to disprove the skeptics:
1. "These are confusing and hard to put on!" - Absolutely and without a doubt WRONG. Ok, I honestly don't know how someone could think this was hard. There's a video you can watch to make sure you know what you're doing, and the instructions are pretty simple. It's the best method I've ever experienced for putting on a screen protector. If you take your time and make sure you know what you're doing everything should go extremely smooth.(I had a few small bubbles so, of course, it's not perfect. HOWEVER, they were extremely easy to smooth out. One complaint is that the cardboard object provided to help smooth areas was extremely flimsy and basically worthless. Luckily, I had an better one on hand from a different protector package. If you don't have access to this then a finger wrapped in the smooth cloth works just as great. I would also advise wrapping the smoothing device with the cloth; to prevent possible scratches)

2. "The bottom screen protector is tinted! The bottom screen protector messed up my touch screen; TERRIBLE, DON'T BUY" - These people are ridiculous. First of all, yes the bottom screen protector comes package as blue, but you TEAR THIS PORTION OFF at the end. I seriously have no idea how someone could not know that. The instructions state it and there is even a tab on the side of the blue portion that says "Remove this" for the last step. As for problems with the touch screen I have yet to experience any (and doubt I ever will!!). The instructions even state that this only happens if you put it on wrong. Once again, just take your time lining up the edges and it should work perfectly.

3. 3D still works perfectly and I don't even notice the protectors when the system is turned on - Well, this speaks for itself. I spent a good amount of time reviewing the instructions, lining up the protector perfectly, and taking my time. If you do this then you've got yourself the perfect protector.
Also, I did a side by side comparison of mine (with screen protectors) and my friends (brand new WITHOUT screen protectors). The screens were EXACTLY the same. Resolution, opacity, 3D effects were not effected in the slightest.

All in all, I am EXTREMELY satisfied with this purchase. I had my doubts so I bought two, but I didn't even have to open the 2nd.
So, if you're like me and spent hours looking for the perfect solution, this is your answer.

I ordered this screen protector a couple of weeks ago for my 3DS XL after reading the good reviews on Amazon and applied the screen protectors immediately after they arrived. Since then, I've been playing The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on my XL, and I have had no issues whatsoever, and it's like the screen protectors aren't even there. The clarity is great.

Some customers have complained about the touch screen protector interfering with its functionality, like icons and buttons on the touch screen being pressed without any input from one's stylus or fingers. I was concerned that this might happen, but luckily I did not experience such a problem.

Something I really liked about this product was how it is so easily applied. I honestly wished more screen protectors for other products like phones and tablets were designed like this. It starts off by having you line up the screen protector (which has multiple layers: one on top and one on the bottom to cover up the screen protector itself) and then holding it down with the adhesive tabs. This, in my opinion, is ingenious, because in the past I spent so much time just lining up the screen protector on my phone (while trying to keep dust and debris out, mind you) and on my tablet. Then, you start pulling off the bottom layer, which slowly reveals the adhesive of the actual screen protector. Gravity brings it down and it begins to stick onto the screen. You can easily pause the peeling and help the adhering process along to avoid bubbles. After this is done, the top layer can finally be removed, which reveals the smooth top of the screen protector.

Admittedly, the process can seem a bit complicated, but it comes with very clear instructions on how to apply the screen protectors. There's also a video on YouTube that shows you how the screen protector is applied for the regular 3DS, which isn't that much different from the XL. The process is the same.

I highly recommend this product for all of you out there who want to protect your system's screen. You absolutely cannot go wrong with HORI. I plan on purchasing a Vita in the near future as well, and have already ordered a HORI screen protector for it.

After trying out a Skinomi screen protector for my 3DS XL (which was absolutely horrendous), I decided to go for this one from several recommendations made to me.

The bottom screen protector went on flawlessly. They have a pretty nice system for applying the screen protector (when it works). My favorite part about the bottom screen protector is the friction. There is very little! The stylus feels very similar to the way it does on the naked screen, a big plus.

The top screen gave me a bit more trouble. My first attempt failed miserably. The applicator method (the bottom layer that slides away) ripped and ultimately ruined the application process. I had contacted Amazon to get a replacement, which they happily obliged. The second one came and the applicator worked. However, there was a ripple in the actual screen protector that, no matter how much massaging I do, will not come out. It has left a elongated bubble in my top left corner. I have tried to reapply to no avail. It's a deformity in the material itself, and it's apparent when I lift that part of the screen protector off the screen and see how the material itself is actually "dented". It's not hair, it's not dust, it's an actual "dent" in the screen protector. Unfortunately, me being anally retentive about these things, will not settle for this. I will likely have to try and get a third replacement or go for another solution.

Servizio Amazon, neanche a dirlo, eccellente come sempre !
