This guitar strap uses a classic reggae design and has very distinctive features. It is made of 2 inches wide cotton thread, it is very thick. Brownish yellow suede leather ends are more harmonious with the whole. Metal buckle can adjust the strap from 36 inches to 61 inches to suit most players.See more Posts >

I,ve had the same 3 awesome Kepur guitar straps for 15 years now, and was getting worried about how much longer they will last (with Kepur being out of business for some time now). I was looking for a strap that was stiff enough to hold its shape (like good leather straps do), but leather clings to a shirt like vecro, making it hard to move around while playing. The nylon on these Dunlop straps is nice and thick so it doesnt bend, stretch, and fold like other nylon straps, and because it's nylon, it doesn't bind to my shirt. The edges are even "double stitched" to keep it from twisting and wearing over time (I assume). The thickness of the strap is about 3.8mm thick, and weighed in at 0.40LBs. They did not skimp on the material for sure. Even the leather ends have some sort of poly coat over the outside to keep them from loosening with wear, and are still flexible enough to fit over the strap buttons without a fight.
I was amazed that i could get a strap like this for $11, when my Kepurs were $25 a pop back in the day!!! With so many straps on amazon to pick from (not to mention all the rebrands of the same straps), I was lucky to find a good quality strap that was what I was looking for. Spend the extra 4 bucks and a great strap, instead of another useless one that belongs on a cheap laptop case. I recommend getting a $5 (25)pack of Grolsch beer bottle gaskets to use as strap locks too. That strap wont go anywhere !!!

Beyond that, it's fairly nice. It's somewhat difficult to find a cheaper, non-custom guitar strap that lets out more than 53-57". I'm 6'2 and play my electric guitar sort of low. Not Mike Ness/James Hetfield low, but lower than average straps will allow. (probably around 59-60") 65" is more than enough to make sure I can play my Les Paul comfortably. The strap is thicker than most nylon straps, and I haven't noticed any stiffness, so maybe that issue has been addressed. (or maybe my definition of stiffness is different. To me, it feels like a thick, soft seat-belt.)
Aside from the "sandpaper" issue, the leather ends are thicker than most straps I've used (not by much, but noticeably)
I'd say that for the price you're getting a lot, especially if you need a strap capable of going 60" or longer
