    4 out of 5 stars
Great value... But lots of wasted space!
Picked this gaming PC up for under $1000 (before taxes). At that price, it's an awesome value. The graphics card (EVGA single fan three slot), mobo (ASRock), case fans (Cooler Master), and CPU (11th gen Intel i5) together are worth it. Based on my own experience and reviews, part quality varies. In my particular rig, there was a 600W Gold Aptevia PSU. Glad I thought ahead and got an Asus Thor 850W Platinum. IMHO 750W is the bare minimum these days for headroom, 850W gives you much more wiggle room, 1000W futureproofs you unless you are on the insane bleeding edge of tech.Stock CPU cooler/fan for me was Deep Cool block-style heatsink+fan combo. Meh.. Replaced that with a V5 tower cooler. 500GBSSD with no additional storage?? Dropped a WD 10TB gaming HDD in on the cheap. 8GB T-Force DDR4 RAM? Points for heat spreader and red color for visual appeal... But 8GB is below today's standards for gaming and overall performance. That stuff is all icing on the cake. The biggest deal-breaker for me as an old fart who is used to full towers and expansion options is the absence of expansion bays and proper full height and half height drive options. Unlike other reviewers, I was fortunate to get the rails for one full-size/mechanical HDD. It's a snap-in pin-in style rail system from Cooler Master.. and it does the job. But good luck with any aftermarket anti-vibration mounting kits. It just won't work. There is tons of space to work with but it is wasted as an "airflow chamber". There are no external bays because the three front intake fans block the way. Say goodbye to external optical drives, hot-swap bays, digital dashboards, or anything else of the sort.Another odd choice is forcing the PSU and any additional drives to a bottom compartment. You're cutting off key components from the airflow in the main chamber. It's just an odd choice that seems to favor anesthetics. Due to the odd design choices, the transparent side panel right of the control panel is only a 3/4 view, which detracts from the RGB potential. That said, this was still the best choice on Amazon and Newegg alike to be used as a baseline for upgrading at the $1000ish price point. It's a shame they didn't go a few inches and push that value proposition. We can blame the supply chain issues and semiconductor situation but I think that, at the end of the day, it's just a lazy attempt to improve profit margins. Now, I haven't tested the rig fully but I am still confident it was more cost-effective than building from scratch. The EVGA Nvidia 2060 6GB graphics card makes it a very compelling choice so I ain't mad. Just wish CyberPower went just a little further because they have an opportunity here to take a major market share. I mean, try getting an Alienware at similar specs for anywhere close to this price point.. it just ain't happening! So far, I recommend it but be aware of what you get and may have to potentially replace. Power, memory, and cooling are definitely worthwhile considerations depending on your needs.Reinforcing the little bad there is: tiny motherboard, no real expansion options, super hot GPU, tons of wasted space... I added two high-CFM chassis/case fans and a GPU cooler and that's still not quite enough. I'm not a fan of liquid cooling outside of bleeding edge OC setups so your best bet may be replacing the stock fans, though I will say they are solid CoolerMaster units.P.S. My particular build came with the RTX 2060 Super which is even more of a value. This GPU really performs. Super pleased, especially considering many reviewers only got the base version of the graphics card.UPDATE 11/13/22: I'd honestly give this rig a 5/5 score but I'm a real stickler about upgradability. The lack of front expansion bays is typical today but the biggest shame is that it looks like a full-sized ATX board would fit yet they opted for mATX with only one available PCI slot below the GPU. I get it: it's to improve airflow and most won't use the expansion options but still.. Booger. On the bright side, if you're hard-core and want to go overkill with a water cooling system, you should have space to work with. The quality of the parts and configuration is more than sufficient for the default setup. I simply did not like my GPU running so hot on ultra settings so I had to get the extra fans and even a simple GPU cooler. Better safe than sorry, I say.. and this should future proof me if I ever wanna go with a better GPU. The 2060 Super performs really well, its just a shame they went with a single fan setup.Back to the mobo, I was impressed with the supplied ASRock. It has a ton of headers for adding fans, drives, ARGB lights, USB, and more. I'd put this guy slightly below my favorite mobo brand these days, ASUS.So, a quick review of the highlights:PROS:* Mid-range ASRock gaming motherboard* Nvidia RTX 2060 Super 6GB* Room for additional fans (2x or AIO)* Spiffy RGB setup (Apevia controller and remote) with cool patterns* CoolMaster fans [4 total]* Super quiet operation* Takes pretty much anything you throw at it (so long as you don't hardcore multitask)CONS:* 8GB TForce RAM chip (solid brand, crappy amount)* 600W PSU (bare minimum for stock config)* Limited storage space (though the WD 500GB M2 drive performs very well)* Lots of empty space in the case (could be seen as a good or bad thing)* Not very expandableOverall, this rig should fit most gaming and productivity needs at a great price. There are little details that I really appreciate, like the easy access on the front panel and solid tempered glass side panel. It's simply a pleasure turning this bad boy on and enjoying how quiet and humble it is. The performance was surprising indeed, though I did upgrade quite a bit. You definitely need 16GB of RAM or better these days IMHO.If you plan to use this strictly for gaming and don't play a ton of different games, I think the stock build will suit you very well. Very, very happy with this purchase and I can tell CyberPower has really stepped up their game from what they were doing around 8 years ago. I'm definitely sticking with CyberPower and ASUS for the foreseeable future. These guys are the juggernauts in the gaming industry these days, if you ask me!

day 1. 12/8/22 Just hooked up the PC and i am writing this review from the new PC. Before i go on.. i want to make clear what i am reviewing because that was the cause of my 1 con.

I am reviewing CYBERPOWERPC Gamer Xtreme VR Gaming PC GXIVR8060A12 which came with:
    ASRock B560M-C/AC micro-atx motherboard
    Intel Core i5-11400F 2.6GHz,
    500 GB WD Blue SN570 M2 drive
GeForce RTX 3050 8 GB with 2 fans
    8 GB XPG ADATA AX4U320038G16A DDR4 3200 ram .
EVGA 600W Gold 80 plus power supply
4 RGB case fans with remote
    wired gaming keyboard
    wired gaming mouse

half dozen of 1 ..... 6 of the other
    - The case is plenty big enough for a DVD drive. wish it could be installed by removing 1 fan.. but no go.
    - no SD card reader
    - Why do i have to have a stupid Microsoft account to even turn this thing on. so dumb.
    - would have liked to have had the MotherBoard book in the package. but i can Easly download it

    Pros:
good price. good spec.. good components. good gaming pc for THIS price.
arrived exactly on the day it said it would.
Unigine benchmark score of 11087 right out of box

    Con.
Really just one complaint causing a 2 star drop. I read the reviews and they said an internal drive could be installed easily. I pulled off the back cover and there is room for 3 extra drives. but NO rails to install them. I looked in the box but nothing. No way to install the storage drive i had in my old PC. The reviews must have been for a different Cyberpower PC.

I'm going to go to cyberpowder's website and try to order some rails. If i can't get any. this thing is going back.

    day 2:
Cyberpower responded to me and suggested some coolermaster HDD rails. They also provided me a link to Coolermasters site to buy the rails. Back to a 4 star . The rails that will work are

rails arrived today. I installed them onto the hard drives and they and fit in flawless. The RGB case fan lights can be turned on and off with the remote. They go off when the computer shuts down.

The RGB lights on the motherboard stay on all the time. ASrock has software "ASRock's RGB Polychrome Utility" that should control this and allow you to turn them off when the PC shuts down. I haven't played with it yet but i will.

I installed my two SATA drives from my old PC and they are working perfectly. I also removed the 8GB of XPG ram and replaced it with 16 GB of Cosair. 16 gib was only $8 more than a single 8GB stick. The Bios picked it up and is running dual channel automatically.

My GPU fans were not coming on so i panicked and contacted Cyberpower tech help again. As with the HD rails they responded the next day but in truth i freaked out for nothing. I ran a stress test and both fans did come on when they needed to as the GPU heated up..

Cyberpower's customer service moved review from 4 to 5 stars.

The rails that will work are

    final initial review- 12/12/22
rails arrived today.

I have always had great luck with Cyberpower PCs, I have felt they put together quality machines that won't bankrupt you. I have now had this model for the past 4 months, and have been impressed with how quite it runs, and just how speedy it can be. I had contemplated going with an I7 processor, but really just recognized that was not necessary for my needs. I mostly use this PC for music production, graphics work, and some gaming. I would highly recommend upgrading the RAM, as 8gb is just not enough these days. I opted for the Patriot Viper Steel DDR4 32GB (2 x 16gb) 3200MHz Kit, which really makes this PC fantastic.
Beyond performance, I think the case looks fantastic, and I greatly enjoy the clear side panel and plentiful LED lighting.
A couple of items to note, when I initially received the PC and turned it on, it did not boot. This wound up being a result of the video card and ram becoming loose in shipment. Just be aware of this, and this is not uncommon to find in any desktop. If you encounter an issue of not booting, just carefully confirm everything is seated. If you plan to add an additional HD or SSD, be aware that the bays for this may be found on the back side on the bottom portion under the mother board. While power SATA cables are included, the data SATA cables are not, so you will need to add this. About the only thing I do not care for on the case, is that the power supply is hidden, and difficult to get to. While I have not spent that much time looking into this, it seems like it would take more work than it should to replace (or to even find the specs for it).
All in all, this is another great machine from Cyberpower PC. Great job continuing to hit it out of the park!

Like the title said, buying this computer is a real plug and play experience.
    - Installation is easy and straight forward.
I complete the installation under 30mins after watching the guide video from Cyberpower. Most time is actually spent on handle this large computer chasis.
System has Windows 11 pre-installed. Sign-on experience is better than Windows 10. Nothing to say about it.
    - Gaming experience is fantastic!
Have to say that gaming experience heavily depends on what hardware configuration you are getting with the purchase. My review is based on comparing this Cyberpower PC with my old gaming laptop. My Cyberpower has a RTX2060 GPU and latest intel i5. My old laptop is an Alienware M17 with GTX980M and an 6 years old Intel i7. Taking Valheim for example, I am doing 30 fps when running high graphic setting with 4k resolution. 50 fps running 2k and >60fps running 1080p (capped by monitor refresh rate). My Alienware struggles running at 60 fps at 1080p and fair about 15fps at 4k. To me, that's a big difference.
    - Noise is not an issue
I have seen some customer complaining noise generated by this computer before I bought the computer. Those comments really concerned me before buying so here I want to share my personal take on this. To me, the noise doesn't affect my using experience. Can I hear it? Yes. Can I hear it when watching video/playing games? No. Again, I want to compare this Cyberpower PC with my old Alienware m17. When my Alienware m17 is pretty quiet when idle, Cyberpower PC did sound louder. That make sense because fans in a laptop doesn't run all the time, but fans on the Cyberpower Desktop run all the time. Not mentioning there 4 big fans in the Cyberpower PC (3 front and 1 back). Things really take a turn when running graphic heavy games. My old alienware is generating very loud noise running GTA5 at 1080p and I can clearly see the fans struggle to get rid of the heat. In comparison, I can't sense any increase on the noise level of the Cyberpower PC. For me, noise is not an issue. Also be aware that my PC is put on the floor instead of on the desk.
    - Lots of ports
Another reason I want to purchase this desktop PC is the large amount of ports on it. I work at home often these COVID years. It is a huge pain that I have to unplug/replug my mouse, keyboard and two monitors every time I transit from my work laptop and my home PC. There may exist some kinds of magic docking system that fit my specific need/pain. But nobody told me that and I don't know how to do it for 3 years, until i get this Cyberpower PC. It has at least 4 USBs and both HDMI and Display port. Now I can use two monitors (one HDMI and one display port) at the same time and have them connected to both my work PC and home PC all the time. This may sound obvious to lots of people who own a desktop PC before. But for me who use laptops all the time, it is a huge performance upgrade.
Overall, I recommend people to buy this PC for both gaming and personal use. Things I like about this PC are: Installation is easy and straight forward; Gaming experience is fantastic; Noise is not an issue; lots of ports.
PS: It's surprising to me that PC nowadays has Wifi receiver build in (at least this Cyberpower PC did have wifi). I put my PC in the corner of the room and it still gets max signal strength. That's a plus.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Desktop Computer That Performs At High Speed

I am a trader using tradestation. I needed a very fast cpu to perform with this software properly without it being excessively slow like my old one. Now with this computer I am able to perform all my scans and to view multiple charts accross 6 monitors and it works exceedingly fast. It's a great trading computer at 1/5 the price trading computers go for.

The stock CPU fan that came with the unit, was a little noisy. That was resolved with a cheap purchase of a different CPU cooling fan which eliminates all the noise.

I am very happy with my purchase in fact I can safely say this is the best computer purchase I have ever made. Value for money, unbeatable!!!

Had to spend another $500 ontop of the sticker price because it couldn’t run anything for more than 10 minutes without crashing. Avoid at all costs

This PC is very great and comes with a keyboard and Mouse. Meets minimum specs for VR gaming on a oculus quest 2. I haven't seen if I can run Full body tracking with it yet. It runs smoothly and runs windows 11 just fine. Only complaint is the download speed. Despite being on full bars on my wifi, it tends to download very slowly... Though this isn't the biggest issue to worry about, it's displeasing. This PC is worth it for the price.

I bought this PC on sale and used it right out of the box without changing any of its parts. I've never had a PC with an SSD before now and I was quite surprised by how fast it booted up compared to the computer it replaced.
There are only two issues I found with this PC.
One was the limited hardrive space. (500gb) which isn't great for playing most modern games due to their size.
The second issue was there were times when it wasn't responsive and I needed to unplug my keyboard and plug it back in to get it to work, and other times when the desktop wouldn't respond to any inputs for nearly a minute, once a day. Though the responsiveness issues remedied themselves several months after purchasing, so its possible they were issues with the operating system instead of the PC itself.

I've since bought another PC that is slightly better than this one in terms of power and space, However that was only because the oppourtunity came about to get a small upgrade. If not for that, I would have been fine using this PC for another few years, upgrading it as needed.

This was my first PC purchase from CyberPowerPC and I'm very happy with it! The spec I got was fantastic for the price and has a decent bit of room for upgradability as well. I upgraded to a larger CPU cooler and the thermals under max load are very good. The case (and airflow) are solid, fans are quiet, and the PSU is much better than most pre builts on the market. Only thing that's missing is a few USB-C ports. Overall, quite happy with the purchase and CyberPowerPC is probably the go-to for pre builts right now.
